Position Overview We are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Sonography / Ultrasound Technician to join a dynamic group of imaging professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a team of compassionate clinicians, and share the joy of delivering reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a diverse array of ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, providing clear and empathetic explanations at each stage
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Accurately document patient encounters and maintain records using the electronic health system
- Stay updated on recent advancements in ultrasound imaging practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable authority
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging methodologies and patient positioning
- Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills
- Capability to function both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
