Position Overview We are in search of a dedicated and talented Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral member of our dynamic imaging team renowned for our exceptional patient care. You will employ cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct vital diagnostic procedures, working alongside a compassionate team of healthcare practitioners, and bringing much-needed reassurance to patients with precise and timely images. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, providing clear and empathetic guidance
- Work intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality, diagnostic imagery
- Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any operational issues promptly
- Keep accurate records and documentation of procedures in the electronic medical record system
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong command of sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
