Apply your legal expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through precise, real-world legal analysis and feedback. This remote contract role centers on translating nuanced legal judgment into high-quality training materials that help models reason and perform more effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Review contracts in detail, identifying risks, ambiguities, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to inform project requirements.
- Draft, edit, and evaluate legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Analyze regulatory-compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions and provide guidance aligned with applicable legal standards.
- Develop clear written explanations and rationales for legal positions and decisions.
- Collaborate asynchronously through written and verbal communication to clarify complex legal concepts.
- Review legal data and provide feedback that supports iterative improvements to AI training materials.
- Active bar admission and at least 5 years of practice in contract law, compliance, or a closely related specialty.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract review, legal research, regulatory compliance, and legal writing.
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities, with careful attention to legal nuance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal ideas to legal and non-legal audiences.
- Comfort interpreting laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-focused environment.
- Experience with legal technology tools is helpful but not required.
