Approximately 33,000 employees generated CHF11.20 billion in sales in 2025. Job Description Sika is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in Gastonia, NC. The HR Manager will support our Automotive & Industry business units and play a key role in implementing and handling a wide variety of Human Resources and Facility Operational duties, including policies, practices, and programs to support staffing, employee relations, benefits and compensation, performance management, and training. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain cost‑effective recruitment and selection activities to ensure a pool of qualified candidates for every open position. Work with hiring managers to develop selection criteria, prepare job requisitions, and post internal job listings. Analyze headcount, turnover and other personnel statistics and make recommendations for new/revised employment policies and procedures. Recommend policy, practice, and procedure revisions. Administer all related workflows for increases, promotions, transfers, terminations, and performance appraisals; maintain records in the HRIS system and files. Oversee and drive salary administration, performance review process, and talent management annually. Manage relocation processes for new employees, working with global HR leaders and the Compensation Team. Direct employee development efforts and training agendas in alignment with the Operations Team. Sponsor employee relations events and spearhead volunteer activity agendas to support corporate goals. Work closely with the site Safety Manager to support Sika's safety policy and implement all initiatives and safety programs. Provide Human Resource policy interpretation for all employees. Maintain all employment records, including employment files, medical files, and training logs. Represent Sika Corporation in matters related to workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, legal, and community issues. Coordinate all separations from employment and conduct exit interviews. Supervise Human Resources department employees. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 5–7 years of solid HR experience; detail‑oriented professional. Proven leadership and organizational experience; PC literate with prevailing software and systems. Experience with ADP and SuccessFactors preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem‑solving ability; commitment to customer satisfaction and interpersonal skills.
