Our team is based out of our office in Burlington, Massachusetts, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.

What You'll Accomplish

The Corporate Controller will lead all accounting and financial reporting functions for Wellness, a private equity–backed consumer products company. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP - compliant financial reporting, strong internal controls, and disciplined cash and working capital management. The Corporate Controller will be a key partner to the CFO, executive leadership team, and private equity sponsors, supporting value creation initiatives, integration activities, and readiness for an eventual liquidity event. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inventory, Cost & Manufacturing Accounting (CPG Focus)

  • Systems, Process & Scalability
  • Cash, Working Capital & PE Reporting
  • Leadership & Talent Development
  • Strategic & Cross - Functional Partnership

Who We're Looking For

In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who possesses the following skills and experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA required)
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience in consumer products, CPG, manufacturing, or distribution environments
  • Demonstrated experience in PE - backed, high - growth, or highly leveraged organizations
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and audit management
  • Experience supporting M&A integrations and exit preparation (sale or IPO)
  • Exposure to lender reporting, covenant compliance, and debt structures
  • Public accounting background (Big 4 or national firm)
  • Ability to balance speed and precision in a high - expectation environment
  • Bias toward execution, accountability, and value creation
  • Comfort operating with lean teams and aggressive timelines
  • Strong communication skills with executives, board members, and PE sponsors

The annual salary range for this position is $162,900 to $247,600, based on a full-time work schedule, anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational equity. Compensation may vary within that pay range depending on the selected candidate's professional background, experience, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The full compensation details will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer and may include eligibility for participation in a bonus program.
