Maintenance technician

Maintenance TechnicianHiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Industrial industry!Salary: $28-$37/hr (based on experience)Shift: 2nd Shift M-F 1-9 PMLocation: Justice, ILJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with maintaining an industrial facility to support efficient operations and equipment reliability.Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.Assist with performing preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.Resolve safety concerns in accordance with company policies and safety standards.Perform both indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintenance-related tasks.Monitor inventory supplies necessary for maintenance operations.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GEDKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequired:Minimum 2+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.Preferred:Boiler knowledge.HVAC experience.Experience and ability to perform welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
