Human Resource Information System Manager

Job Title: HRIS Operations Program Manager Location: Hybrid with travel to South Bend Indiana Pay: $100,000-$130,000 Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resources experience. At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Workday. Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, or PMP is highly desirable. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and recommend improvements. Continuously identify opportunities to optimize HR workflows and increase efficiency. Serve as the primary contact for compliance‑related inquiries and audits. Oversee state and federal regulatory filings. Partner with IT and third‑party vendors to manage HR system upgrades, integrations, data integrity, troubleshooting, and overall system performance. Lead HRIS and HR Operations project governance, defining roles, responsibilities, and approval processes. Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Provide centralized reporting on project status, risks, and milestones for leadership and stakeholders. Document lessons learned from completed projects and incorporate them into future initiatives. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align project objectives with organizational priorities. Collect, analyze, and report HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness. Utilize data insights to inform decisions and improve HR processes. Develop and maintain interactive HR dashboards offering real‑time visibility into compliance, turnover, engagement, and workforce trends. Analyze dashboard data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting findings to leadership. Streamline reporting for compliance audits, client requirements, and internal decision‑making. Serve as internal liaison for outsourced payroll, ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll data. Oversee payroll pre‑processing, including collection, verification, and reconciliation of timecards and hours worked. Perform audits and reviews of payroll data in coordination with third‑party payroll services. Manage post‑payroll responsibilities, including funding, payroll balancing, and distribution of reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and ensure adherence to policies. Support related functions, including timekeeping, system configuration, testing, and training.
