Legal Assistant

Description We are looking for someone to join our Medical Malpractice/Nursing Home Abuse department. This person should have PI experience. Experience also with liens and closings. Medical background a plus. Responsibilities Opening files Complete and scan forms Draft and send letters Maintain clients' files Request/follow up with consumers for documents solidifying potential consumer law claim(s) Contact clients to obtain physical status General clerical duties, including mail room work Filing and sorting of documents Uploading pdf documents to electronic discovery platforms Data entry Copy/scan documents Collect incoming mail floor Scan mail into proper files in case management system (ATO) Occasional meetings with clients Translate for clients when meeting with paralegals/attorneys (Spanish preferred) Phone calls, such as speaking with potential clients and clients Cover phones for reception, as needed Assist in whatever is needed Additional duties as assigned Legal Assistant experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Gordon & Partners Pa
