We are seeking a skilled Machinist and Composite Laminator to join our dynamic team in Auburn Hills, MI. Responsibilities- Set up and operate various machining tools, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines.
- Fabricate and assemble composite components according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve processes and product designs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or composites is a plus.
- Proven experience as a machinist and/or composite laminator.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and composite materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
