The role ensures parts are produced to engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements through precise material handling, adherence to ply books, and strict process control.Essential FunctionsLay-up fiberglass/carbon fiber/Kevlar and similar materialsPly cutting and orientation layupDe-bulking and vacuum bagging of tooling and partsPotting and bonding of materialsMix resins and hardeners to manufacturers specificationsUnderstand and work to all QMS procedures and work instructionsUse and understand work order travelers and manufacturing plansAchieve quality and production goalsFollow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR complianceOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and Competencies1+ years' experience laying up and or working with one or all of the following materials: epoxy, fiberglass, carbon fiber, BMI, graphite, Kevlar. preferred but not required1+ years' experience with vacuum bagging of tools or parts, running industrial size ovens, running autoclave preferred but not requiredGeneral understanding of ply orientation preferred but not requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentApply today and build your future with Visioneering.
