divh2Host Job Description/h2pWe are a busy restaurant and have an open role for Host. You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift./ph3Host Responsibilities:/h3ulliGreeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary./liliProviding guests with menus and answering any initial questions./liliSeating guests at tables or in waiting areas./liliAssigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers./liliEngaging with guests to ensure theyre happy with food and service./liliResponding to complaints and helping to resolve them./liliAnswering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions./liliA knowledge of the menu./liliHelping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed./liliProviding great customer service./li/ulh3Host Requirements:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./liliAbility to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment./liliA positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff./liliDoes high-quality work while unsupervised./liliAble to work in a standing position for long periods of time./liliAble to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary./liliWilling to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed./liliAble to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system./liliAble to work in a busy restaurant environment./liliRestaurant experience a plus./liliExperience with SevenRooms a plus./li/ul/div
