Job Description:

Tria Federal is seeking a Senior Front-End UI/UX Developer to support human-centered digital experience delivery within a large-scale federal healthcare environment.

This role will lead the implementation of modern, accessible, and scalable front-end experiences across complex, high-visibility systems used by healthcare providers, administrators, and federal stakeholders. You will work across multidisciplinary Agile teams to translate design intent into high-quality, production-ready interfaces aligned with real-world workflows in highly regulated environments.

As part of a mission-focused delivery organization and a member of Tria's Human Experience (HX) Practice, you will partner closely with designers, researchers, and engineers to elevate front-end quality and strengthen the integration of design and engineering. You will also contribute to advancing how weleverageemerging technologies, including AI, to improve user experience delivery.

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to federal security clearance requirements.Must be able tobe in person 1 day per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Figma (or similar design tools) prototypes and design systems into high-quality, production-ready code
• Collaborate deeply with UX designers to ensure design intent, interaction patterns, and visual systems are effectively realized in code
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern front-end technologies
• Contribute to and help evolve design systems and reusablecomponentlibraries
• Advocate for front-end quality, usability, and accessibility across the development lifecycle
• Identifygaps or opportunities in the user experience and propose thoughtful improvements
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistency across devices
• Participate in code reviews and helpestablishfront-end best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on UI implementation
• Proficiencyin HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches including Sass/SCSS
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript (withdemonstratedreal-world usage)
• Experience developing applications using Angular
• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
• Strong understanding of responsive design and modern web standards
• Experience working from Figma (or similar tools) to production code
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and human-centered design practices
• Demonstrated experience applying human-centered design principles in real-world delivery
• Experience building accessible applications (WCAG compliance)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, pair-programming assistants)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or similar federal health programs
• Experience designing and/or building AI-enabled user experiences or systems
• Experience contributing to ormaintainingdesign systems
• Familiarity with component-based architecture and reusable UI patterns
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Exposure to federal or large-scale enterprise environments
