You will ensure that facilities are well maintained, regulations and procedures are in place, hazards and aspect assessments are conducted, accidents caused by unsafe acts and conditions are reduced, and energy and waste are driven down. How You Will Contribute Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help the plant achieve zero accidents and incidents Coordinate and oversee the implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes Participate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non‑conformances Provide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change‑management activities Follow up on non‑conformances and develop systems to resolve them based on root‑cause analysis Maintain an up‑to‑date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the HSE Pillar team/safety committee, and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrence Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards What You Will Bring Experience in Environmental Health and Safety Completed Environmental Health and Safety training in areas such as OSHA, EPA, DNREC Experience with safety and/or environmental technical standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances, including experience with ISO What Extra Ingredients You Will Bring Build proactive relationships with leaders and managers, partnering to drive 100% engagement Partner with the regional pillar to create a master plan for the HSE Pillar that delivers on phase objectives, ensuring visibility for the current and upcoming phases Partner with standard owners to drive successful implementation of the blueprint model and oversee and close gaps for Mondelez priority standards Education / Certifications Diploma or degree qualifications in OHS/Claims & Injury Management, Workplace Ergonomics, Rehabilitation, or a related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered Job Specific Requirements Location: Onsite Travel: None Work schedule: Monday – Friday Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. The position is eligible for a highly competitive bonus program.
