CulinArt is hiring for full-time and part-time Prep Cook positions at Emma Willard School in Troy, NY, with immediate openings.

Candidates should have experience in high-volume cooking and knowledge of food safety and allergies is preferred.

The pay range for this position is between $16.00 and $17.50 per hour.

Applicants must have weekend availability and a flexible schedule, with possible hours from 6 AM to 8 PM.

Job Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential duties and responsibilities include obtaining daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef, preparing items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes, completing and following daily production worksheets and waste log sheets, operating and cleaning equipment per department procedures after each use, storing, labeling and dating all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines, completing all required documentation, reports, logs as required, complying with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures, taking orders from customers and preparing items requiring short preparation time, serving customers in an efficient and friendly manner, completing orders from steam tables and grill and serving customers at multiple stations, using approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control, resolving customer concerns, and performing other duties as assigned.
