Role Description The Wealth Management Trainee role is a full-time hybrid position based in Huntsville, AL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The trainee will support financial representatives in helping clients plan for retirement by assisting with financial needs analysis, preparing proposals, and participating in client meetings. Day-to-day responsibilities include learning and applying wealth management concepts, insurance and investment solutions, and regulatory requirements under the guidance of experienced professionals. The role involves building relationships with clients, maintaining accurate records, and following up on action items to support ongoing financial strategies. The trainee will also engage in structured training, use CRM and financial planning tools, and collaborate with team members to develop a strong foundation for a career in financial services. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning, including retirement planning, income strategies, and basic tax awareness. Candidates should possess skills in Investment Management and Investments, including portfolio concepts, risk tolerance, and diversification. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial principles. Candidates should possess understanding of Insurance, including life, health, and retirement-related insurance products. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and build trust with clients. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with team members. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant internships or sales experience are a plus.
