Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates.We're looking for an Instrument and Controls Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Become a member of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world-class designs for well-known clients around the world.You’ll be accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology, and panel design including panel layout and wiring diagrams. Here's what you'll need
Must have:Degree in EngineeringExperience in instrumentation and controlsFamiliarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)2+ years of BIM design experienceExperience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCADProficiency in Microsoft SuiteAdditionally, the ideal candidate will have:Experience designing data center, semiconductor, and other industrial facilitiesFamiliarity with controls, electrical panels and cable trayFamiliarity with instrument placementOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
