Job Description:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing and delivery for long-term care facilities.
• Verify and check the work of pharmacy technicians, including data entry, filling, and packaging of medications.
• Answer incoming calls from nursing homes, assisted living facilities, staff, and families, providing clear drug information and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of medication orders, controlled substance logs, invoices, and other required documentation.
• Oversee timely and correct medication dispensing, packaging, and delivery to all supported facilities.
• Manage inventory levels and supplies, ensuring adequate stock of medications and pharmacy materials while minimizing waste.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science OR Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree in pharmacy is mandatory.
• 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience is mandatory.
• Pharmacist license from the state of TX is mandatory.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Helotes, TX.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $64.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
