About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews and oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical projects in the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate with other trades, maintain jobsite safety, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for assigned projects.
- Install, troubleshoot, and inspect electrical systems as needed.
- Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
- Ensure work is completed according to the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
- Train and mentor electricians and apprentices.
- Track job progress, materials, and labor.
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project schedule.
- Perform quality-control inspections and ensure work passes required inspections.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical construction experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
- Working knowledge of NEC requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- OSHA 10/30 and electrical certifications are a plus.
