Payroll Coordinator
Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain payroll records and resolve any discrepancies efficiently. Collaborate with the Human Resources team to address employee payroll inquiries and concerns. Calculate and process deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings accurately. Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports as required. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation. Contribute to process improvements within the payroll function.
A successful Payroll Coordinator should have: Bachelors degree (required). Minimum of 3 years payroll experience (required). Experience with payroll processing systems (Workday preferred). Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong communication skills for interacting with employees and team members. Ability to work 3-days onsite in Washington, DC.
Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Robust benefits package.
