Job Title: Mechanical Assembler on 1st shift

Job Description

This role will perform value-add mechanical assembly of components, including building piece parts and components for rectifier assemblies. The role involves running a drill press, final production of assemblies, manufacturing bars, foaming assemblies, and wrapping and strapping final products for shipping. Candidates must be able to read drawings and work instructions and properly operate hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of components.
• Build piece parts and components for rectifier assemblies.
• Operate a drill press.
• Conduct final production of assemblies.
• Manufacture bars and foam assemblies.
• Wrap and strap final products for shipping.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Operate hand and power tools effectively.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience.
• 1+ year of experience working off of blueprints or work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and work instructions.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, well-lit manufacturing setting. Assembly stations are set up for mostly standing work, although some sitting can be done depending on the product.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetonka, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Minnetonka,MN.
