Mortgage Loan Assistant

Supporting a high-performing Loan Officer, the full-time Mortgage Loan Assistant will manage the day-to-day flow of mortgage files, coordinate communication with clients and business partners, and ensure efficient loan progression from application through closing in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities: Gather, review, and verify borrower documentation, including income, assets, and credit information Prepare complete and accurate loan applications for submission and maintain organized loan files Serve as the primary liaison between Loan Officers, clients, and other parties, providing timely loan status updates Required Qualifications: Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Assistant or Mortgage Loan Processor Proficiency with Encompass Loan Origination System preferred Working knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and compliance requirements Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage loan origination software
