About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Human Resources to take on a pivotal role as the first dedicated HR leader. The successful candidate will be a senior HR professional with a background in professional services, consulting, or financial services, and will be responsible for both strategic HR planning and hands-on execution. Key responsibilities for the Head of HR include partnering with senior leadership in a client-service oriented environment, and building and administering structured career frameworks, competency models, and performance review cycles. The role demands a leader who is comfortable operating in a lean organization and is capable of functioning as a standalone HR executive. Applicants for the Head of HR position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating in a billable, client-service oriented environment and be adept at working with a PEO partner. The role requires a professional who is adept at both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and who can thrive in a high-performing, lean environment. The Head of HR will be expected to be in the NYC office 4 days a week and should be prepared to take on a leadership role that involves close collaboration with the CEO and COO.
