Timberland - Retail Communications Coordinator

Retail Communications Coordinator – Timberland Support the brand’s communication strategies by creating and distributing content that aligns with our mission and values. Report to the Director of Retail Operations and assist in enhancing brand visibility and engagement through various communication channels. Responsibilities Develop and execute communication plans to support brand initiatives and campaigns. Create and manage content for internal communication channels, including Yoobic content, emails, intranet sites, presentations, and directives. Build partnerships and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal campaigns and strategies. Work cross‑functionally to maintain and optimize all retail calendars (Stores, brand Ops, VF Ops). Support Head of Stores and Senior Manager of Store Operations with special projects. Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and suggesting refinements to communication processes. Prepare and present regular updates on communication activities and outcomes to the operations and brand retail leaders. Process department expenses via Coupa. Work with business partners to build agendas for field leader and store calls. Summarize and recap meeting/call content with field leaders and store teams. Collect and collate field reports (field and customer surveys, store hours, store locator). Execute contests, recognition, and awards programs. Act as Brand Liaison for store supplies, with VF partner and vendor. Location Hybrid position based out of Stratham, NH, with an expectation of on‑site presence three days per week. What You Need to Succeed Ability to develop and execute communication strategies that increase brand awareness and engagement among internal audiences. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with retail stores, field leaders, and cross‑functional partners. Ability to manage timelines and calendars to support effective retail operations. Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging written and visual content. Ensures precision and accuracy in all communication materials and messaging. Demonstrates ability to foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability within teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience using tools to measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies. Smartsheet experience. Compensation Hiring Range: $62,400.00 – $78,000.00 USD annually.
