Having been around for over forty years, our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.Position Summary: Anistar is seeking an experienced Structured Cable Technician to provide assistance with the installation, pulling, and testing of various types of voice and data cable. MUST be comfortable working off ladders.Job Responsibilities:Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environmentTerminations of Cat6 cableInstalling, terminations of Fiber OpticsInstalling security equipmentInstalling support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if requiredPulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.The ideal candidate will possess the following:4+ years' experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.Experience leading a crewOwnership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.Anistar PAYS YOU for referrals!!!!!!!!
