Echo Technician - Contract

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 8 Hours/Day

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join a leading healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves performing high-quality echocardiographic studies while delivering exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Doppler, Contrast, and Stress Echocardiograms.

• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and complete required measurements and calculations.

• Assist physicians during echocardiography procedures as needed.

• Explain procedures to patients and provide compassionate patient care.

• Accurately document exam findings and maintain patient records.

• Ensure ultrasound equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and well-stocked work environment.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Participate in continuing education and support the training of students when applicable.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Current Echocardiography Certification required.

• BLS Certification (AHA) required.

• Minimum 2 years of Echocardiography experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of adult and geriatric echocardiographic imaging.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
