Assistant Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Assistant Maintenance Mechanic

Join a growing manufacturing team as an Assistant Maintenance Mechanic in Indianapolis. This position supports the maintenance department by assisting with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and equipment upkeep to help ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Responsibilities

Assist with preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
Support troubleshooting and basic mechanical repairs
Help inspect equipment to ensure proper operation
Assist during equipment breakdowns and maintenance tasks
Maintain tools and keep the maintenance area organized
Follow safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out
Support documentation of maintenance activities
Follow all safety, GMP, and quality standards

Requirements

Basic mechanical knowledge or maintenance experience preferred
Ability to stand for the full shift
Ability to bend, kneel, and lift as needed
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Reliable transportation
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Must pass mechanical/electrical aptitude testing and interview

Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift AvailablePay Rate: $17.00 $19.00/hr (Based on interview)
