Director, Product Owner - Infrastructure Technology

Role Description

Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Product Owner to lead our Infrastructure Technology curriculum portfolio. In this role, you will serve as the vertical subject-matter expert (SME) and curriculum product owner, translating labor market intelligence, employer demand, technical standards, and instructional research into high-quality, scalable learning products that drive learner outcomes, credential attainment, and job placement.

• Own and maintain the multi-year curriculum product roadmap for Infrastructure Technology.
• Establish and maintain a disciplined Operating Rhythm, including discovery-to-delivery planning.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management.
• Define and uphold curriculum product standards.
• Serve as the primary curriculum strategy lead in partner and funder discovery.
• Assume accountability for the analysis and design phase of new and existing curricula.
• Ensure curriculum alignment to occupational roles, industry standards, and certification requirements.
• Act as a lead consultant for internal and external stakeholders.
• Spearhead the narrative and content development for client/funder-facing curriculum materials.
• Support grant and contract requirements.
• Lead through influence across various teams.
• Own, define, and actively track curriculum product KPIs.
• Partner closely with Training Delivery, Instructor Development, and Product Delivery.
• Identify cross-functional process gaps impacting curriculum quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on infrastructure technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with or supporting data centers and critical facilities.
• 2+ years of product ownership, curriculum development, or workforce development experience.
• Active Technical Portfolio: Must be prepared to discuss real-world infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to translate technical and occupational requirements into structured learning objectives.
• Product Design discipline: experience managing a backlog and driving execution.
• Executive communication strength: ability to synthesize complexity into clear tradeoffs and outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience developing or evaluating technical training content for infrastructure technology occupations.
• Familiarity with workforce development or scaled training delivery environments.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, NFPA-related safety practices, and related technologies.
