Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an event sales growth role
• 2+ years of restaurant industry experience required
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and hospitality sales and automation software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable making cold calls and asking for business
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented, with a track record of hitting KPIs

Job Responsibilities:

As the Restaurant Director of Sales in Dallas, Texas, you will:

• Lead the overall sales strategy for a growing restaurant portfolio
• Develop and execute strategic sales objectives that drive incremental revenue
• Build initiatives that strengthen brand and corporate identity in the marketplace
• Create and maintain sales forecasting and budgets
• Develop relationships with Corporate Executives, Executive Assistants, Event Planners, Hotel Concierge teams, Property Managers, Chamber of Commerce contacts, and Convention and Visitor Bureaus
• Attend and host networking functions, trade shows, and industry events as a representative of the brand
• Establish new accounts and corporate partnerships to grow sales
• Conduct regular outside sales calls and face-to-face prospect meetings
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with guests, partnering with them to understand their business objectives and needs
• Collaborate with the marketing team on sales and advertising initiatives
• Utilize CRM and sales systems to document all prospect activity
• Mentor Event Coordinators on best practices, sales process, and relationship management
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports to leadership
• Maintain measurable outbound sales activity, including corporate sales calls, outside visits, networking events, new accounts, and generated revenue

This role is heavily weighed toward business development, with most of the time spent prospecting, networking, and building relationships in the community, complemented by sales leadership and administrative responsibilities.
