Executive Kitchen Manager

Immediate opening for an experienced and passionate Executive Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations while adhering to company brand standards. The Executive Kitchen Manager is responsible for conducting inventory and ordering based on menu and demand, managing a diverse team, and ensuring all products are prepared according to Craft Food Hall standards. The candidate must work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting and directing the team during peak hours, and maintaining prompt service times. This is a full‑time position requiring a flexible schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage sanitary inspections. Verify and correct where necessary that all products are stored and prepared based on the Craft Food Hall standards. Streamline the kitchen process to maintain prompt service times. Perform random quality control checks on food leaving the kitchen. Check and maintain hot and cold storage temperature control points. Supervise kitchen team members to follow all food and safety standards. Maintain a positive work environment for team members. Train team members on menu builds and standards. Be comfortable with corrective action and corrective training where necessary. Set regular cleaning standards and verify team members are maintaining sanitation levels. Conduct daily alignment meetings with cooks. Partner with the General Manager and ensure an open line of communication. Communicate with the General Manager about scheduling needs based on anticipated business activity. Education & Experience Food and safety knowledge. Awareness of common allergens and procedures. Minimum 2 years management experience. Minimum 3 years kitchen experience. Knowledge Kitchen operations and cooking techniques. Skills Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal communications. Ability to convey information effectively. Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work. Ability to order using online purchasing platforms. Ability to problem‑solve. Accountability. Basic Google Workspace and Microsoft knowledge. Ability to read and understand financial reports while also teaching team members. Physical Requirements Most work for this position is performed in a kitchen and requires trips to a walk‑in refrigeration unit and walk‑in freezer unit.
