Student - Institute for Inclusion and Equity Ambassador

Description IIE Ambassadors are members of the student staff in the Institute for Inclusion & Equity (IIE). Ambassadors dedicate 4-9 hours supporting IIE programs and services. Responsibilities This work includes but is not limited to planning and organizing community building events and projects such as updates on the website, flyers/promotion et cetera. IIE Ambassador – Examples of planning events, website, & resources Homecoming Café Nia and Alumni events Intercultural Engagement Week DEI Trainings Book Clubs and Special Events Requirements Current full-time student at Ursinus College Have a commitment for inclusion and equity at Ursinus Be organized and responsible Feel comfortable expressing ideas and working with various groups Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion Have a positive and proactive attitude to create an atmosphere of belonging Other Duties The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
