Branch ManagerFreeStar Financial Credit Union is looking for a dynamic and passionate Branch Manager to lead our teams to success at our Clinton Township Branch. If you love to use your dynamic skills to generate business and develop our team for a growing credit union, this may be the right job for you!Job Location: Clinton TownshipDays: Monday thru Friday with occasional SaturdaysSalary: $70,000 (quarterly incentive program, plus up to a 5% annual incentive)Benefits:4 weeks PTO available in the first year401k with up to a 6% matchUp to a 5% year-end bonusPosition Purpose:The Branch Manager will help to drive operations and effective team member development while ensuring exceptional member service and branch goal achievement. This person actively engages in activities supporting efficient and compliant branch operations, coaching, and leadership strategies to support the credit unions' mission, vision, strategic plan, and goals. Playing a key role in building and maintaining member relationships.What You'll Do In This Role:A Branch Manager should lead, coach and develop the branch team to meet goals and deadlines as established to include, but not limited to ensuring team members meet monthly minimum performance expectations as established by leadership. Coach team to maintain strong product knowledge through frequent observations, work inspection, and providing regular feedback.A Branch Manager ensures teller and member transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and within established compliance and credit union guidelines. Actively follow-up and review branch activities to ensure compliance.A manager demonstrates leadership teaching the branch team to service all members with their questions and concerns and to improve the financial lives of our membership. Motivates, coaches, trains, and develops the branch team holding them accountable to the service promises, mission, vision, goals and productivity standards defined by the Credit Union. Assists with member escalations to resolve concerns and issues.A Branch Manager controls, manages and coordinates branch operation activities to include, but not limited to scheduling, maintaining adequate staffing, directing work, cross-training, reporting, overseeing loan, teller and member services operations.A manager provides superior service to member requests by assisting them with, but not limited to, teller transactions, new account openings, loan originations and other account service requests.What You'll Bring To FreeStar Financial as a Branch Manager Candidate:Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.A high school degree or GED is required.Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to process and analyze loan applications.Demonstrated knowledge of business, personal, and insurance products and services.Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply financial information (e.g., credit scores, debt, assets, balances, payments, interest rates, etc.) and perform math functions (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios).Demonstrated ability to consult, provide member services, and achieve relationship sales objectives by anticipating and understanding member's needs and recommending products that will benefit them.Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and judgment by gathering and applying relevant data to research and resolve issues.Proficiency in leading, coaching, developing, and holding team accountable.Ability to be bonded.Ability to obtain Michigan Credit Insurance License.Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS ID.Ability to obtain and maintain notary designation.What You'll Get Working at FreeStar Financial As A Manager:Partner with a talented team helping to provide financial solutions to our members!Be part of an environment where our service to each other is just as important as our service to our members!A wonderful opportunity to expand skillset and develop professionally!Join a Credit Union culture that makes an impact in the community!Join an organization which appreciates and promotes having balance in your life!A competitive compensation structure which rewards the contributions of our team members!
