Our organization is looking for a Musculoskeletal Radiologist to enhance our expanding team in Northern Virginia.

We are in search of a fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist to become part of our Community Division . This role provides the chance to engage in a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal imaging within a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, serving facilities such as Prince William Hospital, Haymarket Medical Center, Culpeper Hospital, Culpeper Outpatient Imaging Center, and Gainesville Outpatient Imaging Center . The position merges the benefits of a vibrant community practice with the academic resources of a prestigious university health system.

The ideal candidate will allocate around 90-95% of their time to clinical duties and 5-10% to administrative and service-related tasks , with the ability to adjust as the division progresses.

• Analyze a wide array of musculoskeletal imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography of the extremities, joints, spine, and pelvis.

• Conduct and interpret image-guided musculoskeletal procedures , such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies , as necessary.

• Engage in multidisciplinary case conferences (e.g., orthopedic oncology, sports medicine, rheumatology) and offer consultative support to referring physicians and technical staff.

• Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine experts, rheumatologists, oncologists, and primary care providers to maximize the value of imaging studies.

• Participate in the division's clinical schedule and on-call duties , with occasional responsibilities at the Culpeper Outpatient Imaging Center.

• Contribute to divisional quality improvement, workflow enhancement, and patient safety initiatives .

• Engage in peer reviews, protocol development, and marketing/recruitment activities .

• Collaborate with technologists, nurses, and administrative personnel to ensure high-quality imaging protocols and prompt service.

• Foster a culture of collegiality, inclusivity, and respect within the Division and our organization.

• Help enhance the professional reputation of our Radiology department in the communities we serve.

• M.D. or D.O. degree ; board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology .

• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology .

• Eligibility for medical licensure in Virginia .

The base salary range for this position is $503,453 - $602,506 for a full-time clinical role. Individual compensation will be based on fair market value and the qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and education of the selected candidate. Please note that this salary range does not include any potential incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible roles.
