Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shift, from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients while working on both the 3rd and 5th floors of our medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring comprehensive therapeutic measures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of Med Surg experience preferred.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
