Role Description This full-time, on-site Human Resources Payroll role is located in Birmingham, AL. The role is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining employee payroll records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and internal controls. Daily activities include collaborating with HR and finance teams on employee data changes, handling payroll inquiries, and resolving discrepancies. The role also supports benefit and deduction administration, assists with audits and reporting, and contributes to continuous improvement of HR and payroll processes to enhance the employee experience.\n
Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support HR operations and payroll functions.

• Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
\n
• Skills in Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling sensitive information responsibly.
\n
• Prior experience in payroll processing and use of payroll or HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) is strongly preferred.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in numeric and data-related tasks.
\n
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across HR, finance, and operations teams.
\n
• Ability to work on-site in Birmingham, AL, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
\n
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; HR or payroll certifications (e.g., SHRM, CPP) are a plus.
