Job Duties

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers therapy methods that facilitate ongoing improvement and support at home
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure patients remain on the path to recovery

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Commitment to ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
