A Media Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting media planners by facilitating the smooth execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels. This entry-level position involves detailed data management, budget tracking, and coordination tasks to ensure campaign effectiveness. Media Assistants gain exposure to various media software and analytics tools while working closely with media planning teams, providing a strong foundation for a career in advertising or marketing.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist media planners with digital, TV, radio, print, and social media campaigns
• Enter and update campaign data in media management software
• Track campaign budgets and manage invoices
• Build and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Excel or Google Sheets
• Coordinate communications with clients, vendors, and media outlets
• Monitor campaign performance and pull relevant analytics
• Schedule meetings and prepare presentation materials
• Conduct research on target audiences and media trends
• Support occasional off-site client or vendor meetings

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in media support or advertising
