Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 10/05/2026 for a 16-week assignment. Weekly pay range: 2,299 to 2,426 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (block scheduling is not promised). This assignment is in a busy ICU tier with neuro-medical and trauma capabilities, requiring experience with critical care technologies and skilled patient management in a high-acuity environment. EPIC is the designated electronic medical record. Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,299 – 2,426 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 weekly Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night shift, 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. (block scheduling not guaranteed) Start date: 10/05/2026 Location: Utica, NY ICU travel assignment with float to allied units as needed EMR: EPIC Prioritize applicants with CRRT/Prismaflex and heart-related ICU experience Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to adults in the ICU, implementing plan of care and monitoring for stability in acute and evolving conditions Administer medications, manage therapy modalities, and operate critical care equipment (including CRRT/Prismaflex as applicable) Monitor neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, and hemodynamic status; interpret assessments and respond to changes promptly Collaborate with physicians, case managers, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team; participate in rounds and huddles Document in EPIC with accurate, timely nursing notes; maintain compliance with ACLS/BLS/NIHSS requirements Provide safe patient/family education and assist with transfer or discharge planning as appropriate Floating required: support multiple ICU-related units as needed per patient census and unit needs Requirements Licenses: Active NY Registered Nurse license; NURSYS verification of active licenses Certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience: 2+ years ICU experience required (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU); 4–5 years ICU experience preferred Travel experience: Required EMR: Proficiency with EPIC Additional: Drivers license with address matching demographics; willingness to float to other units as needed Education: RN degree required (as per standard nursing practice); start date and travel nature reflect a nursing role in critical care Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Assignment duration: 16 weeks On-site clinical support and dedicated assignment management Travel-related support and credentialing assistance throughout the assignment PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
