Nuclear Medicine TechnologistThis position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in a clinical setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional procedures extending to 4:30 PM EST. There are no on-call or weekend responsibilities.Location: Rochester, NYJob DutiesPerform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT, ensuring precision and clinical excellence.Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety at all times.Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and manage radiopharmacy operations in compliance with NYSDOH guidelines.Document patient data accurately in the eRecord CUPID system, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and improve lab protocols continuously.Adhere to core values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence in all aspects of work.Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, and hybrid SPECT/PET viability studies.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.At least 6 months of experience in Cardiac Imaging.Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred.Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program is preferred.BLS Certification required.Behavioral CharacteristicsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively within a healthcare team.
