Nuclear Medicine TechnologistThis is a 13-week contract position.Monday to Friday, with varying shifts of either 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM. No weekends, no call, no holidays.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. The role involves positioning patients and performing imaging procedures while ensuring proper imaging techniques related to the patient's age and ability to understand the procedure. The technologist will review patient information and data interpretations to confirm appropriate plans and interventions, ensuring they meet age-related needs.The position requires performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable standards, policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities include analyzing results, identifying and resolving imaging quality issues, entering and transmitting scan results, and managing radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
