Radiology Tech - CT Tech

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Nuclear Medicine

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with varying shifts of either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. No weekends, no call, no holidays.

Assignment Details: Contract Duration: 19 weeks

Requirements:

NYS License
ARRT Certification with CE credits
BLS Certification
CT experience
2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients about procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Position patients and perform imaging procedures, ensuring proper techniques are used for age-related needs and patient abilities.
Analyze imaging results and take actions to resolve any quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures as necessary.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results, while adhering to established protocols for radiopharmaceuticals management.
Monitor patient conditions continually and respond to any changes in status accordingly.
Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms.
