Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: Hourly (based on experience)
About the Position
Georgia Flooring Outlet is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Maintenance Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and working with their hands. The right candidate will be a "jack-of-all-trades" who can assist with warehouse operations, deliveries, maintenance, and day-to-day facility needs.
Responsibilities
- Load installers with materials for scheduled jobs each morning.
- Transport and gather flooring materials from other company locations to maintain inventory for upcoming installations.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (forklift certification required or willingness to obtain certification).
- Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing and maintaining inventory.
- Complete repairs and maintenance around the warehouse, showroom, and company property.
- Handle minor flooring repairs and assist with other maintenance projects as needed.
- Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials when necessary.
- Keep the warehouse, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist team members with additional tasks as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Must be 25 years of age or older to drive company vehicles.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Strong handyman skills with experience in general maintenance and repairs.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and move heavy flooring materials throughout the workday.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous warehouse or flooring industry experience is a plus but not required.
