Details Level III trauma center emergency department with 48 beds plus flex space Patient ratios of 4:1 in the Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track Diverse patient population including ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric patients Common diagnoses include substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain Uses Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and iStat POC, and ultrasound guided IV equipment Cerner EMR Day shift schedule from 7A to 7P Minimum of two weekends per schedule required No call requirements No floating requirements Team nursing and pod system with a social worker and unit educator assigned to the department Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA) certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred RN ADN required Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required Additional Information Provide emergency care across a wide range of trauma, medical, and psychiatric cases Various Trauma Level I, II, and III cases may be flown in due to facility location Work alongside an Interim ED Manager and Clinical Coordinator Two professional references required for consideration License verification required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-748555.
