Details Level III trauma center Emergency Department setting 48-bed unit with flex space Patient ratios of 4:1 in Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track Patient population includes ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric cases Team nursing and Pod System with dedicated Social Worker and Unit Educator support Mids shift schedule combining rotations of 10am-10pm, 12pm-12am, and 3pm-3am 36 weekly guaranteed hours Minimum of two weekends per schedule required No call requirements No float requirements Uses Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and iStat POC, and Ultrasound Guided IV equipment Cerner EHR Requirements Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred RN ADN required Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required Additional Information Manage common diagnoses and treatments including ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain Work under the guidance of an Interim ED Manager and Clinical Coordinator American Traveler Job ID P-748812.
