Premier Rehabilitation Services is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Stockton, California. Work Environment

This onsite role is structured around a supportive team atmosphere, working alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent routine that allows our team to focus on delivering quality care. The rehabilitation facility is designed to create a welcoming and safe environment that encourages healing and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and needs, establishing personalized care plans to address each individual's goals.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, treating one patient per hour to ensure quality interventions and thorough attention to each patient's recovery journey.
• Utilize various treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise-based interventions, to enhance patients' motion, mobility, and strength.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families that promote healing, understanding of treatment plans, and adherence to prescribed exercises.
• Document all patient care services meticulously in accordance with established protocols and compliance standards using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans, share insights, and adjust strategies based on ongoing patient evaluations.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation process, fostering resilience and commitment to recovery.
• Actively seek out innovative methods to minimize reliance on medications, prioritizing non-surgical alternatives wherever feasible.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by creating tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance patients' overall functionality and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic outpatient clinic caters primarily to individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. We work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletes seeking to return to their sport, to older adults looking to regain independence in daily activities. Our therapists interact closely with patients, understanding their unique backgrounds and challenges, which drives tailored treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly with WebPT, to efficiently document services provided.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desired.
• Demonstrated success in engaging with patients to meet rehabilitation goals and improving patient outcomes.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting and with diverse patient populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
