Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team as we enhance the lives of our patients through quality care. This full-time position focuses on the rehabilitation of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, with the goal of restoring their mobility and functionality to lead a healthy life.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite, allowing for hands-on interaction with patients in a dynamic outpatient office setting. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), who work together to provide personalized care plans and treatment strategies. The office atmosphere is upbeat, encouraging continuous communication and feedback to ensure every team member is involved in the journey to achieving optimal patient health.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions, establishing their short and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, utilizing a combination of manual therapy, exercise regimens, and advanced modalities.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, providing dedicated attention and thorough documentation of services rendered.
• Consistently monitor and assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle to foster their long-term health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care as needed, ensuring effective communication regarding treatment plans and patient progress.
• Promote evidence-based practices that reduce potential reliance on medications or surgical interventions whenever possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will focus primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including sports-related traumas, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. At Great Marshall, we serve a diverse patient population predominantly covered by private medical insurance, ensuring access to quality physical therapy services that focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California; candidates must have a clean record free from any disciplinary actions.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective physical therapy programs that yield substantial patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
