We are actively seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. This full-time role is centered in an orthopedic outpatient practice, where you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility and enhance their overall physical functionality. Our state-of-the-art 5000 square foot facility boasts advanced sports medicine technology designed to support our expert team of healthcare providers. Our practice focuses primarily on individuals covered by private medical insurance, allowing us to devote extensive attention to each patient's specific rehabilitation needs. Our current team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to deliver exceptional services.

Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will work in an orthopedic outpatient setting that fosters a collaborative atmosphere. You will be expected to maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives personalized, attentive care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand each patient's unique goals and requirements, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement efficient therapy methods that improve mobility and facilitate pain management without relying heavily on medications.
• Construct extensive treatment plans utilizing multiple therapeutic techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Design and promote customized fitness and wellness programs that address the specific needs of patients.
• Motive and encourage patients during their therapy sessions to optimize their engagement and recovery speed.
• Regularly collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, evaluating outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with recovery goals.
• Document and maintain patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily serve patients in need of orthopedic rehabilitation. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients recover from such conditions as fractures, sprains, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. As a significant team member, you will engage with patients who expect individualized, compassionate care as they work to restore their mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Must possess an active California Physical Therapist license, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience utilizing EMR software such as WebPT for maintaining patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred, as it aligns with the demands of our patient population.
• A background in providing tailored treatments to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Compensation and Benefits
