Work Environment

The role requires being onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Stockton, where you will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be interacting with patients face-to-face, providing an engaging and personalized approach to care. Our team is made up of diverse healthcare professionals who collaborate regularly to ensure holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities.
• Create customized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options designed to enhance patients' mobility and overall functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to complement exercise regimens, facilitating quicker recovery and improved outcomes.
• Encourage non-surgical interventions whenever possible, aiming to minimize reliance on medication.
• Document treatment plans, progress, and patient feedback through EMR systems like WebPT, ensuring continuity of care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on effectiveness and patient goals.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to optimize their physical capabilities and encourage a healthier lifestyle.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base consists primarily of individuals with private medical insurance needing orthopedic rehabilitation services. We focus on a variety of conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and preventative care. Our approach emphasizes patient education and empowerment, allowing individuals to take charge of their health and rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines aimed at enhancing physical performance.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, and the ability to accurately document patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and implementing personalized fitness or wellness programs.
• A track record of fostering patient relationships and engaging patients in their own rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
