Job Description CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Description: Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS). Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches. Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines. Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality. Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply patches and upgrades. Troubleshoot server issues. Administer customer accounts Deploy monitoring tools. Deploy applications and tools. Assist with escalated customer tickets. Installation and cabling of equipment Required: Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines) Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi) Desired: Syslog/NxLog Nagios or other similar monitoring applications Scripting experience (Python/Perl, About Evlos Technology Serving our customers, partners, and Solvers, by Advocating for professional and personal improvement and growth, to Solve the most complex problems through evolving technology and ideas.
