As a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown/PCU care, this assignment provides you with the rewarding opportunity to further develop your expertise in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU caring predominantly for cardiac patients. You'll engage hands-on with a variety of acute conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P, as well as manage advanced cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors). Occasionally, responsibilities may include overseeing telemetry beds with lower acuity patients-adding depth to your experience and versatility to your skillset.

• Ratio: 1 nurse to 3-4 patients

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years current Stepdown/PCU experience in a similarly sized facility
• Experience with cardiac populations and drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Ability to provide all demographic information and badge-appropriate photo

Core Duties:

• Monitor and care for patients with acute cardiac conditions
• Administer and titrate cardiac IV drips
• Manage patient loads in PCU/IMCU and occasional telemetry beds
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care
