Position Highlights:

• Float to all PCU/IMCU units, primarily serving cardiac populations:
  • Patient ratio typically 1:3-4
  • Care for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and Chest Pain patients
• Work with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May be assigned to lower acuity telemetry beds within the same unit
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based assignment
• Flexible floating to meet patient care needs
• Minimal requested time off permitted during assignment

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (unrestricted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience in similarly sized acute care facilities
• Demonstrated comfort with cardiac patient populations and complex drips
• Strong adaptability and ability to excel across multiple units
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based care to cardiac and progressive care patients
• Respond quickly and efficiently to acute, emergent changes in patient condition
• Manage patient loads with professionalism; ensure safe and thorough documentation
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes
• Float efficiently between assigned PCU/IMCU and telemetry areas as required
